band The Presidents of the United States of America. He has written hit songs such as “Lump”, “Peaches”,
“Kitty” and “Mach 5”
Guitarist/pianist/songwriter Robb Benson has released eight CD's. His latest project, The Tree Mind, was relased in July 2004. For two years in a row (2003-04)
Robb has been nominated in the best singer/songwriter category for the Seattle Weekly music awards.
Jake Bergevin is a singer-trumpet player and plays as headliner and sideman mostly in his native Seattle area. His first recording,
My Name is Jake, is a combination of sensitive jazz vocals and romping party/dance music.
Pancho Chavez is lead singer and co-founder of the band Cambalache. He is backed by the band Sonando on the song Edgar. In 2001, Cambalache
was one of the bands chosen to perform at the baseball All-Star game in Seattle.
Alt-Country/Americana artist Chad Hinman has performed in rock, jazz and country bands playing a variety of instruments; he also and engineers and produces many
local acts. On his second album, Strawberry Sunward, Chad is backed by his band, the Never Was.
Jeff Hoyt is a writer, producer, and has voiced thousands of commercials for every category of client from coast-to-coast. Jeff
also leads a group of volunteers who make up Voice of Vashon, an Internet community radio station on Vashon Island.
Carla Lewis has been singing since she was 7 years old. In 1993, Carla began singing with a gospel group known as God’s Clients
performing at numerous churches, functions, and Seattle-area community activities. Carla is a member of the Martin Luther
King, Jr. Memorial Baptist Church of Renton, Washington where she sings with the Voices of Praise choir.
A three-time winner of the Northwest Area Music Association’s Best Vocal Group award, The Main Attraction has been performing together for 20 years. They've toured the college market, opened for major acts, and have performed
prior to many sporting events, including several Seattle Mariners games.
Jimm McIver has been writing and performing for more than a decade with bands and, most recently, as a solo artist. McIver's debut
album Polaroid Angel was released in June 2002 on Seattle independent label Ptarmigan Records. Jimm also performs
with Andrea Wittgens and Sugartown and venues around Seattle.
Afro-Cuban Latin band Sonando backs vocalist Pancho Chavez on the song Edgar. Band founder and leader Fred Hoadley also arranged the song for the CD. Sonando has been a favorite of Seattle audiences since the mid-‘90’s.
Direct from Japan’s garage-punk-rock scene, Supersnazz , has been creating high-energy music for over ten years. Working with Producer Kurt Bloch they released Superstupid on
the Sup Pop label in 1993. They’ve toured all over the world with bands from Japan, Canada and the USA. Their most recent
recording is called Invisible Party, released in 2003.
Cedric “Paul” Thomas is currently the Minister of Music at M.L.K. Jr. Memorial Baptist Church and works with the Seattle School District as
a music teacher of Emerson Elementary School. He’s held several positions including Elementary to High School Choral
Directing including the TT Minor Children’s Choir, who recently performed for the former South African President, Nelson
Mandela, and the former Heavy Weight Champ, Muhammad Ali.
Singer/Songwriter Andrea Wittgens founded her band Sugartown in early 2000 and was able to expand her sound by incorporating elements of the jazz, soul,
rock, and even classical Baroque. Outside Sugartown, Wittgens writes and performs music for various local theatre projects.
